Scope & Content
Subseries is composed of photographic prints, negatives, and slides of Itter’s earliest assemblages made from found objects from the 1960s through the early 1980s. Some of Itter’s first assemblages were hung outside her shack at Babyland in Robert’s Creek. These initial assemblages were exhibited in Itter’s first solo exhibition, Rattles, at Western Front in 1984.
