Scope & Content
File contains images taken at Babyland, a property near Roberts Creek in British Columbia that hosted artists for research, collaborations, performances and experimental practices. The images show people working on "Colour Research". The file also contains portraits of people, including ceramic artist Michael Henry, Gordon Allen, Willoughby Sharp, Kate Craig, who also went by the alias Lady Brute, and Slobodan Saia-Levy, who also went by the alias Jorge Zontal and was a part of the artist collective General Idea. Babyland was the site for the development of "Colour Research". "Colour Research" is a collaboration between Michael Morris and Vincent Trasov with the involvement of artists in the Intermedia movement in Vancouver, which features the "Colour Bar" in various urban and natural landscapes.
