Dance and choreography practice series

Series consists primarily of sound recordings of complete or partial soundscapes used in Goodwin's choreography practice, wherein she created "environments" for her dancers, as well as sound samples used to create the soundscapes. Notably, there are recordings labelled "complete" of the works Crazy Horse and The Shipbuilder. Series also includes a visual score for The Shipbuilder, which uses graphics and text to outline the soundscape and dancer's movement for the routine. Additionally, there are exercise and warm up sound recordings, a video reel of a dance workshop by Anna Halprin, Goodwin's drum which she played for her dancers, and a book entitled Taking Part: A Workshop Approach to Collective Creativity by Lawrence Halprin and Jim Burns, which includes information on Anna Halprin's workshops.
