Subseries consists of event flyers and postcards advertising Western Front productions and performances, as well as copies of The Western Front newspaper.
Western Front was co-founded in 1973 by Metcalfe and seven other artists who wanted to explore the creation of new art forms. Western Front provided a space where interdisciplinary art could be created, mixing poets, dancers, musicians and visual artists. The Front was also innovative in developing art forms incorporating electronic and networked technologies, including video art, sound art, and telecommunications.
