File consists of two folders containing an exhibition catalogue, exhibition posters, bound booklet, press release, correspondence, newspaper articles, and photographs. The exhibition was inspired by the past, present, and future history of the Chilkoot Trail. The exhibition was built around a painting seventy feet long in thirty sections with the same title, by Jack Shadbolt which resulted from his trip to the Chilkoot Trail with a group of people in August 1971. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery January 14 to February 5, 1972.
