File consists of an exhibition catalogue, press release, correspondence, packing instructions, catalogue lists, condition reports, calendars, comment booklet, and newspaper articles. The exhibition featured paintings by Canadian artists, including Frederic Marlett Bell-Smith, George Théodore Berthon, Paul-Émile Borduas, Franklin Carmichael, Emily Carr, Alfred Joseph Casson, Maurice Cullen, Georges Delfosse, Allan Edson, Robert Field, Lionel LeMoine FitzGerald, Clarence Gagnon, Théophile Hamel, Lawren Harris, Robert Harris, Jack Humphrey, A.Y. Jackson, Charles William Jefferys, Frank Johnston, Paul Kane, Cornelius Krieghoff, Ozias Leduc, Arthur Lismer, John Lyman, J.E.H. MacDonald, David Milne, James Wilson Morrice, Kazuo Nakamura, Paul Peel, Alfred Pellan, William Raphael, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Goodridge Roberts, William Sawyer, Julien Ruggles Seavey, Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Coté, Jacques de Tonnancour, Harold Town, Frederick Varley, Frederick Arthur Verner, Adolphe Vogt, Homer Watson, Robert R.
