Scope & Content

File consists of two folders containing an exhibition catalogue, press release, correspondence, receipt, packing instructions, condition reports, comment booklet, and newspaper articles. The two part exhibition featured 19 prints by Richard Hamilton, one of the main instigators of the Pop art movement in Britain. The second part of the exhibition included works by Richard Hamilton, Alistair Grant, Allen Jones, Alan Davie, Victor Pasmore, Edwardo Paolozzi, Jim Dine, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, and Andy Warhol. The exhibition ran at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery from February 4 to 24, 1971.
