File consists of four folders containing an exhibition catalogue, poster, correspondence, receipts, condition reports, newspaper articles, and photographs. The exhibition featured a collection of wax models of food commonly displayed in windows and glass cases of restaurants in Japan. Shown with the food were signs, banners, objects, artifacts and photographs, concerned with the ambiance of Japanese vernacular eating places. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery from March 20 to April 11, 1970.
