Younger Vancouver Sculptors

File consists of an exhibition catalogue, exhibition mailings, correspondence, press release, newspaper articles, comment booklet, photographs and slides. The exhibition included sculptures produced by younger Vancouver artists. The sculptures, many of which emerged not from sculptors’ studios but rather from the studios of painters, explored new concepts of space, and what defines a sculpture. The exhibition included works by Iain Baxter, Robert Arnold, Audrey Capel Doray, Gathie Falk, Sherry Grauer, Glenn Lewis, Al McWilliams, Michael Morris, Bodo Pfeifer, Rick Ross, Marianna Schmidt, Dallas Selman, and Takao Tanabe. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery October 15 to November 2, 1968.
