Scope & Content
File consists of three folders containing exhibition catalogues, pamphlets, correspondence, receipts, press release, catalogue list, newspaper articles, photographs, and slides. The exhibition included forty-four paintings, sculptures, prints, and other objects which expressed the delight in colour, form, scale, and new materials seen in the Vancouver art world in the 1960s. A Centennial exhibit featured works by B.C. Binning, Claude Breeze, Leonard Brett, Tom Burrows, Audrey Capel Doray, Myra Eadie, Brian Fisher, Sherry Grauer, Sharon Hassell, D’Arcy Henderson, Reg Holmes, Gary Lee-Nova, Glenn Lewis, Duane Lunden, Michael Morris, N.E. Thing Co., Gordon Payne, Bodo Pfeifer, Helen Piddington, Marianna Schmidt, Dallas Selman, Barbara Shelly, Gordon Smith, Bob Steele, John Stocking, Takao Tanabe, Carole Thompson, Glenn Toppings, Ian Wallace, Anna Wong, Jack Wise, and Judy Williams. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery July 3 to August 18, 1967.
