Scope & Content

File consists of receipts, catalogue lists, correspondence, artist biographies, and newspaper articles. The exhibition was organized and circulated by the National Gallery of Canada. It featured twenty World War I paintings, created when Milne was thirty-five years old. Between December 1918 and August 1919, he produced more than one hundred watercolours that became part of the National Gallery War Art Collection. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery March 19 to April 6, 1963.
