Scope & Content
File consists of exhibition signs, catalogue lists, a signed exhibition contract, receipts, and correspondence. The exhibition featured watercolours, drawings and prints from the collection of the Pasadena Art Museum, circulated by the Western Association of Art Museums. The collection includes paintings by Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, Alexei Jawlensky, and Lyonel Feininger, who became known as "The Blue Four" after a 1925 exhibition in New York. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery November 28 to December 16, 1961.
