Scope & Content
File consists of exhibition signs, packing lists, list of invites for the opening, correspondence, and newspaper articles. The two-person show featured artists who both lived and worked in Victoria, and belonged to "The Point" group. The exhibition featured sculptures by German-born, Herbert Siebner. Siebner studied at the Berlin Academie under Carl Hofer, and relocated to Canada in 1954. The exhibition also featured sculptures by Victoria-born, UBC graduate, Elza Mayhew. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery October 31 to November 25, 1961.
