Scope & Content

File consists of an exhibition catalogue, correspondence, and newspaper articles. The exhibition marked the first outdoor showing of sculpture in Western Canada, and was sponsored by the North West Institute. The indoor exhibit was from July 3 to 21, 1956 and the outdoor portion ran from August 3 to 18, 1956. Artists are: Franz Carius, Robert Allan Clothier, Vivian Cousland, Robert de Castro, Gordon Dixon, Herb Gilbert, Jack Hardman, Jack K. Harman, Robert M. Hume, Thomas Kakinuma, William Koochin, Marvin Richard Levitt, Ian McIntosh, David Marshall, Elza Mayhew, Egon Milinkovich, Peter Ochs, Frank Perry, H.P. Pflasterer, Marjorie Robertson, Donald Stewart, Jan Zach, Paul Huba, and George Norris.
