File consists of slides, photos, negatives, multi-frame contact prints, a photo collage, newspaper clippings and photocopied clippings, ephemera, and one copy of the book The Log's Log. The Log's Log is a published book by Carole Itter, documenting Itter's conceptual work Log for the Vancouver/Halifax exchange in 1972. The volume includes photographs, newspaper articles, and handwritten notations tracing the project in which Itter and Gerry Gilbert cut up a yellow cedar tree found at Roberts Creek, BC into segments, attached handles, and fitted them into drawstring bags and carried them by train to Halifax.
