Personal files series

Series consists of three files: one with party guest lists, one concerning insurance, and the third concerning Balkind's fight with cancer. The file with lists of guests invited to parties contains notes about everything from small dinner parties of ten to larger art scene or academic affairs; file includes a few notes on what to serve. The insurance file consists mostly of correspondence. The file regarding Balkind's cancer consists of correspondence with friends and doctors (includes an exchange of letters sparked by homophobic comments written, and assumptions made, by a Seattle doctor), medical reports, and relevant clippings about possible treatments.
