Letters were sent out to the correspondence network with which Lee-Nova was involved, and notified members that "On the 21st of September, 1972 The New York Corres-Sponge Dance School of Vancouver will be holding a Funeral for all the letters in the Dead Letter Offices." Contributions for the funeral were requested from the network.
